New price labels for Baker and Cook
Baker and Cook, a chain of artisan bakeries and sandwich shops, has adopted the Edikio Price Tag solution in more than 17 of its stores in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia.
The challenge: Implement labels that match the brand's image
Created in 2012, Baker and Cook offers artisan bakery products and fine sandwiches in its 10 outlets in Singapore. The chain previously used laminated paper labels for its food signage,
- which were not very durable
- and required a considerable amount of manual manufacturing time.
The solution: food labels printed with the Edikio Price Tag Access solution
When the solution Edikio Price Tag Access was presented to the chain, which asked us for a few samples that convinced them, in particular the matt black cards to match the interior design of the shops. They were also interested in the versatility of the solution and the possibility of using both vertical and horizontal display formats.
After implementing this solution, we have seen a considerable reduction in manual work and in the time spent making labels, and the point of sale looks cleaner and more standardised.
Le Edikio Price Tag software is easy to use, and updating the list of items is child's play. The retailer was able to personalise the labels by integrating its logo and specific font.
The result: Customers appreciate the extra information on the labels.
The product display counter is now more attractive, and customers can see the ingredients used in each product. The labels are perfectly clean because they can be cleaned with water and washing-up liquid, without damaging them as is the case with laminated paper labels, guaranteeing better hygiene at the point of sale.
After introducing the Edikio Price Tag solution to its stores in Singapore, Baker and Cook has just done the same in Saudi Arabia and plans to continue the roll-out to its outlets in Kuala Lumpur.
