The challenge: to quickly and easily produce professionally rendered price labels for 3 shops
Over the last ten years or so, the Biocoop group, France's leading distributor of organic products, has experienced dazzling growth.
Keen to project a professional image and comply with European regulations on the display of consumer information, the managers of the three CABA-Biocoop shops in Anjou wanted to introduce a new solution for labelling fresh produce.
The solution: the Zenius card printer and cardPresso software for printing price labels
Until now, CABA-Biocoop used paper labels with or without lamination to present its products. "Today, our labels meet current standards and are much more professional.
The cardPresso software enables us to create our own labels in just a few minutes, showing the name of the product, its price, the European "controlled organic farming" logo, a small product icon and allergens!

At the start, the Zenius printer produced over 100 labels for the cheese section and around forty for the delicatessen section. Today, the shop assistant customises and prints around 15 labels a week for the three shops.
The shop also issues cards with information for customers in front of the checkout, as well as employee badges displaying their first name and an icon indicating the department in which the employee works.
